Dr. Adrian Helmsley, part of a worldwide geophysical team investigating the effect on the earth of radiation from unprecedented solar storms, learns that the earth's core is heating up. He warns U.S. President Thomas Wilson that the crust of the earth is becoming unstable and that without proper preparations for saving a fraction of the world's population, the entire race is doomed.
Meanwhile, writer Jackson Curtis stumbles on the same information. While the world's leaders race to build "arks" to escape the impending cataclysm, Curtis struggles to find a way to save his family. Meanwhile, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes of unprecedented strength wreak havoc around the world.
This movie was so bad I walked out of the theatre and wished I had stayed home. I expected to feel like I needed to kiss my family goodbye and instead it made me realize that even and easy shot at scaring the public can be jacked up.It's end is also boring no thrilling we can feel in this 2012.
The film is going for 2012 or for any true science, is unfortunately going to be disappointed to learn about the Mayan prophecies no. However, that is why we go to movies anyway, is it? Godzilla to the giant lizards that radioactive vomit spray hoping to learn something about going to see is like. Emmerich controversial topic that would be a fictitious address and woven it has taken some drama. Those who no doubt would be a little crazy and after seeing the world according to the interpretation of prophecy is to be destroyed.

Though Candy agrees to the deal, but Joe and Baggy's efforts to make their own movie morphs into a raunchy show which they use Joe's suburban parents house as their set.
